Old Church in Pondtown Basks in Summer Sun

As a puffy white cumulus cloud drifts tranquility over Queen Anne’s County, the old Mt. Pleasant Church, basks in the sunshine of a fine Maryland summer day.  This old Eastern Shore house of worship, worn by time and weather, is located in Pondtown, Maryland, a small hamlet about two miles south of Millington and the Chester River.

  1. Please check your facts and location before you post. The picture you have of Mt. Pleasant Church IS NOT THE CHURCH!!!!! It is a picture of the school house. I grew up there and know the area quite well. Therefore, check yourself and get your facts right!
