Eastern Shore Farm Glows in Afternoon Summer Sun

On this Sunday evening in early October, when it feels as if autumn is giving way all too quickly to winter, this Eastern Shore photo from the summer of 2011 radiates with warmth.  The old barn and field, on a farm just south of Centreville, glows warmly on a summer afternoon as the shadows lengthen in Queen Anne’s County.  So while we wonder if we’ve almost skipped autumn and headed right toward winter, here’s a photo to remind you of this past summer on the Shore.

Thanks Adam. Heading south on Route 213, with the sun setting and at the right angle, this old place caught my attention. BTW, really enjoy your work over at Forgotten Havre de Grace. Keep it up. It inspires me to look around for more of visual images as I travel around.
