“Wishing You a Very Merry Christmas:” Old Season’s Greetings From The Past

From the earliest days of the 20th century people have looked forward to receiving Christmas Postcards in the mail.  These colorful cards bearing a brief holiday message were treasured so many of them have survived the passage of generations.  The first of these cards was mail by Aunt Belle to Miss Marjorie Ehlers of Wilmington in 1907. The second, from Flora Startt in Baltimore, was mailed to Miss Ehlers in Wilmington in 1911.
