Popular Fish Fry to Support African American Schoolhouse Museum Returns on June 19

Grill Master Charlie is cooking at the fish fry on Saturday, June 19th,  2010, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the African-American Schoolhouse Museum at Worton Point.  Dinners with sides are $12 and fish sandwiches are $6.  The event includes games for kids of all ages, living history presentations and music by DJ.  There will also be a CD previous of “our stories our songs,” recordings that were made at last year’s fish fry.  Proceeds support the African-American Schoolhouse Heritage Council, a non-profit organization.  You might want to check it out and support a worthwhile undertaking.  We thoroughly enjoyed last year’s event.
